The more you know about your customers, the better you can sell to them, and the better they will buy from you. Your product development process is an excellent opportunity to learn more about your customers using a product roadmap to visualize the product’s journey. They help you see where you need to be and where you want to go. 

The Product Owner should never set out a plan that is too detailed or complicated. Instead, use the vision as a starting point for your road map and continue working backward every day until you have all the details in place. You can refine it over time, adding more elements if necessary but always keeping an eye on how everything fits together.
